You never know how much a vacation was needed until you take it. Like I stated in our post before, we have been extremely busy with life. As most people, we struggled juggling it all. Things are getting switched up a little with the next couple weeks. Kendell is starting shift work next week (4 on 4 off) which will switch from working days and nights. So if any of you have ideas as to how I can make nights go by faster, I would LOVE to hear them. :) I am also pleased to announce that after a gruesome 4 years of college, I will be graduating next Friday! Whoop Whoop!! (fist pump). And with graduation comes the delightful job hunting...but the hubs has been an EXCELLENT practice companion. Things are finally feeling like they're slowing down. PLUS, can we talk about this great weather we've been having? There is such a different feeling when spring has come and you can feel that summer is just around the corner. I'm itching to get in the water and on the trails. Let the bonfires begin!! So, to celebrate...the fantabulous weather, Kendell and I decided to take a week off from school and work to go on vacation last week. We went to Green River, Utah to motorbike with my family, and from there we drove to Vegas for some truck races! It was a blast and greatly needed if you ask me. Kendell has been working so hard and it was fun to be able to have every second with him. I miss that! He may say otherwise, but none the less...it. was. de. best! Although his new shift hours are going to leave me a lone prairie at night, I am grateful that I'll have a lot more time with him other that playing "catch up on the day at dinner". So here's a little something something of our week!
HEY! A week of biking and you'd look gross too!
