Due to a rather disturbing photo, I caution you. I haven't laughed this hard in a weeks!! As you all know, the hubs went on shift work. He leaves at 5:00 p.m to about 9:00 a.m.Well for the last week, I have made it well known to him that I am disgruntled, to say the least, about him leaving me a lone Lethe at night. He has felt really bad and has attempted all comfort phrases. Well, he must have seen that my face had nothing but serious business on it, because he was awarded the MVH , (Most valuable husband) by all his wives. He won this by first, buying me a SEWING MACHINE! (Shout out to my Aunt Bonnie!) This way I can stay busy at night. I have recently taken up the lovely
sport, and have had to make trips to my parent's house to work on
things.
After I about soiled my pants from fright, I began to both cry and laugh until my sides hurt. I didn't know what to think. Was this cruel or romantic?? None the less, I was flattered. He even left as sweet note under the covers and sprayed cologne on his pillow. (No, he does not sleep on one of my pillow project at night) I absolutely love this man and everything he does for me! What a fella! SO, to finish the story, for 22 years I have slept a single lady at night. Utilizing every inch of that matress, I mastered the spread eagle to all 4 corners. It took a sad 4 months, exactly 110 days to completely unable myself from being an independent sleeper. What. the...?! Last night I learned just how much of a predicament I'm really in. After a few chick flicks, a deep spring cleaning for the entire apartment, laundry, looking in the SAME kitchen cupboard about 20 times for any new items to appear, and lastly "checking" my facebook for any new stories, I was finally able to fall asleep around 12:30. I kid you not, I woke up faithfully about every hour. 2:13, 3:03, 4:26...you get the picture. IT DROVE ME NUTS! All in all, this gal is in T.R.O.U.B.L.E. So run an tell THAT!!!....home boy.

ReplyDeleteHolly, I'm sewing most anything I can lay my hands on. ha ha. Quilts, dresses, pillows...most anything. You should get one and we can sew together!
